Lieutenant General Deependra Singh Hooda (Retd) is a highly respected former Indian Army officer with a distinguished forty-year career. He served as the Northern Army Commander and played a pivotal role during key military operations, including the Chumar and Demchok standoff with China in 2014 and the surgical strikes against Pakistan in 2016.
