Dr. Nasser H. Saidi is the Founder and Head of Nasser Saidi & Associates, a consulting firm providing strategic economic and financial advisory services to governments, central banks, regulators, and multinational businesses across the MENA region and globally. With deep expertise in macroeconomics, monetary policy, capital markets, corporate governance, and financial systems, he is a trusted advisor on economic reform and institutional development.
A former Minister of Economy & Trade and Minister of Industry in Lebanon, Dr. Saidi also served two mandates as First Vice-Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon. He was Chief Economist of the Dubai International Financial Centre (2006–2012), where he founded the Hawkamah Institute for Corporate Governance and the Mudara Institute of Directors. An accomplished academic, he has taught at the University of Chicago, IUHEI, and the American University of Beirut. Recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential Arabs, he continues to shape global economic policy.
